Then to Now
In 1979, Joe began operated equipment and became certified to train in 1996. In 2001, he was in the first Minnesota group to become examiners and established the company. Joe has also testified for crane legislation in 2005 and joined the NCCCO Digger Derrick committee in 2011.
Crane Safety is a top priority for Herzog with certifications in ABC, ABL. ABW, DDO, LAT, OVR, Rig 1, Rig 2, SGP, STC, TSS, and TLL. Since its inception Herzog Construction has provided support for a variety of companies and individuals in need of crane training and safety support. Joe has used his experience in construction to support your crane safety and training needs.
As Joe prepares to hang up his hard hat and embrace the relaxation, he is proud of the legacy that his sons continue to build upon. Dan and Mike are providing training in the areas of ABC, ABW, LAT, RIG-I, SGP, STC, TLL, and TSS. This past 2023, the company received an award from CCO recognizing Herzog Construction, LLC for excellence in provide training at the CON Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
